Hospital Cash Plan

The Hospital Cash Plan is a product designed to provide a benefit to the insured member or policy beneficiary if they are admitted to a hospital for more than 48 hours due to an accident or illness. Its primary purpose is to offer financial assistance to help cover loss of earnings, medical shortfalls, or other expenses incurred during hospitalisation. The cover can also be extended to include a spouse and children.

Benefits

  • The Hospital Cash Plan provides a lump sum payment for the time a person is hospitalized, subject to a maximum limit per year.
  • The payment amount is determined by the duration of the hospital stay, not the medical services received.
